The Institute of Business Informatics - Data & Knowledge Engineering is one of the four institutes for Business Informatics at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU). The chair was founded in 1992 and is since beeing headed by o. Univ.-Prof. DI Dr. Michael Schrefl. The institute is located directly at the JKU campus in the Science Park 3 building, which has been constructed in 2012. The institute's permanent staff counts eight employees and is complemented with project employees and lecturers.
