Abstract (English)
This cumulative habilitation thesis comprises papers describing contributions regarding the application of (conceptual) models for data-driven decision making. The presented concepts are the result of or were applied in cooperative research projects with involvement of industrial partners in the domains of health insurance, precision dairy farming, and air traffic management. Research was conducted with varying collaborators from different research institutions and companies.
